Emotional Intelligence Coaching is a process of SEL mentorship (Socioemotional Learning) that helps you improve your emotional literacy, and use it to experience more confidence, empowerment and self-mastery in relationships.

EIC provides un-rushed, one-on-one support, addressing specific barriers you may have in the area of emotional development. Each session is different, yet the end goal is the same: to gain clarity for understanding how you are wired emotionally, and the confidence to express that clarity with peace of mind and self-affirmation.
Exchange: Emotional Intelligence Coaching is sold in 3-, 5-, and 10-session packages, held for 60-75 minutes each. (Individual sessions focused on the Human Design chart are also available.) Additional access may be provided between sessions via email or text communication, depending on the specific needs of each client and my energetic capacity as your coach.

You’ve been labeled as, or shamed for being, “too sensitive”. Let’s face it, the world we’ve created up until now has not been very kind to empathic or sensitive people. In a world that favors logic, people who feel tend to be judged as weak or ineffective, and can be pushed to hide those parts of themselves in relationships, or even disassociate from them altogether. The ability to feel, however, is actually an amazing superpower that, once you regain contact with it, can provide untold insight and help you overcome a multitude of personal insecurities.

You’ve ever wished to be a “robot”, or emotionally numb. On the other hand, perhaps it’s not other people who judge you versus you judging yourself—especially when others can’t even experience the full you behind that 10-foot tall, 10-inch thick wall you hide your sensitivities behind. There are lots of valid reasons to protect your soft underbelly from the outside world. That said, long-term emotional stunting is not only a surefire way to keep you from having the high-quality interpersonal relationships you deserve, but a clear on-ramp to a host of physical ailments that can surface over the course of the lifespan if left unattended.

You’ve made great progress with conventional therapy, and need a less clinical space for self-exploration. Therapy is an amazing tool for helping people move through challenging emotional experiences, though not every emotional moment we have is connected to a hardship or trauma. With the support provided by an emotional intelligence coach, you can learn how to distinguish when emotional dissonance is a function of a deeper issue, and when it is simply an opportunity to journey back to the power of your intuitive knowing and affective process.

You’re a fan of metaphysics, and want to try something more non-traditional. A major component of the EIC I provide is Human Design, an energetic system based on renowned age-old wisdom traditions (astrology, I-Ching, the Kabbalah, Chakras). This “science of differentiation” helps provide an understanding of not only who you incarnated into this lifetime to be, but the unique cellular energies that came together to create the plans and purposes you are meant to fulfill while you’re here. Using knowledge about the affective components of your Human Design bodygraph, I can help you decondition from previous scripts you’ve learned about how you’re “supposed” to behave, and support you in expressing the authentic emotional you, in ways that are life-giving and more sustainable long-term.
